Ingredients

  • 4 sea bass fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 lemons (1 for juice, 1 sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Fish:

    Pat sea bass fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  2. Heat Pan:

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  3. Sear Fish:

    Place fillets skin-side up in the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.

  4. Flip and Finish:

    Turn fillets over, add butter and garlic. Cook 3-4 minutes more, basting with the butter.

  5. Serve:

    Transfer to plates, drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
