Ingredients

  • 1 pound skirt steak, thinly sliced
  • 12 small corn tortillas
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 limes, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Meat:

    Combine olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Coat the sliced steak and let marinate for 30 minutes.

  2. Prepare Toppings:

    Dice onion and chop cilantro. Set aside with lime wedges.

  3. Cook the Meat:

    Heat a large skillet over high heat. Cook marinated meat for 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through.

  4. Warm Tortillas:

    Heat corn tortillas on a griddle or directly over flame until slightly charred.

  5. Assemble:

    Fill tortillas with meat and top with onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
